So often when talking things falconry and horses to the general public people will say they’d love to go to Mongolia to see horses and eagles being used together.
But who needs to go to Mongolia when you can come to Devon
We have, as far as we’re aware, the only eagles in the uk that are worked with horses, and take great pride in the fact that all 5 of our recycled racehorses are happy (not just tolerant) to work with them.
During late summer Autumn and winter our falconry from horses days will include simulated hunting with them as we are preparing them for, or maintaining their fitness for the hunting season,
At other times you will still get to work with one of our eagles
You will also get to work with fast hunting falcons, working them to the lure (simulated hunting exercise)
And have fun with our hawks
We pride ourselves in the wonderful relationship our hawks and horses have together,So as we say, who needs to go to Mongolia when you can have an all round falconry and horses experience with us here in South Devon?
